NEUROROCKSTAR was established in 1994 in a four-member lineup under the name SPEEDBALL, at which time the repertoire consisted of covers. After the departure of one member, work began on the first original demo of "Scratch My Mind" in early 1996. In the summer of the same year, Milan Ješić joined as the second bass guitar. The band changed its name to DEMENTIA. More songs followed, and in the fall of 1997, another demo, "Private Neuromancer,” was recorded. With Milan's tragic death in December of the same year, the band became reduced to a trio and remained such to this day. The name was changed for the third and final time, and thus became NEUROROCKSTAR! The band became more active than ever, with many gigs and new songs, which lasted until 2003 with the last performance in "Barutana" in Belgrade. The band remained inactive for fourteen years until reuniting in 2017. In January 2020, "Groovy Drive" was born.
